Drunk Shopping: Have You Done It?
A glass of wine+browsing your favorite online shops=totally normal. But with costly returns and skyrocketing credit card bills, the hangover can be bad for consumers and retailers alike.
A truly gourmet series by Jonathan Kambouris.
I feel like this could be a really great way to advertise and photograph nail polish. Other than the typical hand gripping the colored bottle that was just used.

Street Chic: New York
The perfect easy summer getup for casual Friday!
Photo: Rachel Scroggins
This is so casual and well put together. I love walking through the streets of New York and seeing women with outfits like this; it’s so different than the pajama pants and sweatshirt look that I see so often around campus. I believe that every outfit you wear should have some sort of interesting factor (in this case, her colorful shorts) and in New York that aspect is common.

Spanish artist Yolanda Dominguez had women re-enact poses from fashion magazines in public as performance art.
We highly recommend the video! Pretty funny.
Women Reenact Fashion Poses in Public
This is a great idea for a shoot. These poses are so expected on magazine pages, but it’s obvious how unnatural they can look when taken off the set.
I’m trying this thing called “fashion blogging”
Once upon a time, about a year ago actually, I had this great idea to create a personal Tumblr, where I would document thoughts and moments from my life in the form of an online journal. Although I did create that blog, it quickly turned into a collection of cat pictures, random quotes, and Harry Potter jokes. Now, that form of blogging is fun and all, but I was a bit disappointed when I realized most of my thoughts and creative ideas were not being expressed.
I decided that I should just start fresh and create an entirely new, personal blog. It didn’t take very long to figure out that I wanted to create a Tumblr page about fashion. A rush of ideas began pouring in, and it suddenly struck me that working on this blog will be a great way to combine my interests and future goals. I can use this space to write my own articles, and gather a selection of pictures that I believe are inspirational and fashionable.
For my own sake, I will try and update this page as often as possible and will take note of events such as award shows, Project Runway, Fashion Week, artist talks I attend at school, personal shopping trips, and more. I also work at a clothing store near my home, and having a job in retail has really gave me an insight into the commercial part of the fashion world.
